Windows 10 comes with a new Photos app that can play slideshows, display photos from OneDrive, and help you manage albums. A lot of people, however, still prefer to use the older Photo Viewer. The good news is that it hasn't been removed it's just hiding so well you might never ever find it. To get it back, simply open Notepad and copy the following code into it:

Now, save the file as 'pviewer.reg'. Next, right-click on the newly created file and select 'Merge'. Now you can simply right-click on any image and select the 'Open With' option and you will get an option to open the image with the Windows Photo Viewer.
